How to send in your demos:
We love to hear from new and upcoming talent who are producing tracks in the trance/techno realms. Be aware that we are not a “Big Room” or “EDM” label. We are genre-specific, and if your stuff has any of the atypical big room riser bits in it or even remotely sounds like something a twat like Avicii or Martin Garrix would play, we ask that you kindly move along. We are not the droids you are looking for.
We accept digital files for consideration for manufacturing and release as well as mixed compilations by our DJs or for digital single release. DJ Lithium specifically, will very happily accept dub plates PVC cuts and (Elastic Stage is great for this!). To be honest, he would rather have the physical medium than a file. It gets our attention and holds it better too. See below for instructions.
Some other important notes on track submission.
We are only looking for material that has not been released anywhere else in any form.
Even private SoundCloud links are something we suggest you avoid, regardless of what some “influencer” or “industry guru” told you. We will accept them, but our reasoning is this when it comes to requesting that you consider alternatives. We understand the temptation of getting a new track out for people to listen to once you finish working on it. Still, if you want to get a track signed by a label, we need to have some kind of assurance that it hasn’t been splattered all over the net, and this includes sharing via private links via Soundcloud. Over the years, and due to many sneaky Terms of Service changes by companies behind Soundcloud and other platforms of that nature, we have found problems with everything from copyright conflicts to AI generative farming methods being used as a means to harvest material and use it in malicious ways. It’s not your fault, it’s those companies being whack. You can of course, send us soundcloud links that are private.
An alternative is to send us a dropbox link, WeTransfer or similar, even if it’s “unmastered”. If you think the track is good to play as a DJ in the genres we are into, then we want to hear it. If you think the track is something that rivals or surpasses the works of your favorite producer or influence on your material, then we want to hear it. If it’s off the wall, but really amazing in terms of soundscaping, straight up thump in your face, then we want to hear it. We think you get the point.
Please don’t attach files in an email. Just a link. Don’t forget to include in your email to us with that link, a little bit about yourself, where you are in the world and what you are looking to do so that we can contact you easily. We can’t sign everything, but we do our best to listen to everything that is sent to us and provide a real reply, regardless of our interest level in the material.
Cheers.
